Broadway Recycled

On April 25, 2011, At Hand Theatre Company will be presenting their annual Earth Day concert entitled "Broadway Recycled" at Joe's Pub at 7pm and 9:30pm. Directed by Jennifer Ashley Tepper, "Broadway Recycled" features songs cut from such musicals as "Hair," "Side Show," "Rent," "Chicago," "Legally Blonde," "Spring Awakening," "Little Shop of Horrors," "The Boy From Oz," "Bloodsong of Love," "Guys and Dolls," "Tick, Tick...Boom," "Subways Are For Sleeping," "Betty Boop," and "Working." All proceeds benefit the Broadway Green Alliance and At Hand Theatre Company.

"Broadway Recycled" will feature the talents of fellow "Adaumbelle's Quest" participants Jeff Hiller (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Adam Kantor (Rent), Andy Karl (Legally Blonde), Andrew Kober (Hair), Kate Pazakis (South Pacific), Megan Reinking (People In The Picture), along with Sean Bradford (The Lion King), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening), Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Hairspray), Gideon Glick (Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark), Annie Golden (Xanadu), Jessica Lee Goldyn (A Chorus Line), Natalie Joy Johnson(Legally Blonde), Liz Larsen (Starmites), MK Lawson (Bloodsong of Love), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Andy Mientus (Spring Awakening), Kevin Michael Murphy (Awesome 80's Prom), Vanessa Ray (Hair), Kate Rockwell (Legally Blonde), Lance Rubin (Things To Ruin), A.J. Shively (La Cage Aux Folles) and Taylor Trensch (Little Miss Sunshine).

At Hand Theatre Company is a not-for-profit theatre company established in 2007 as a company dedicated to presenting new and relevant plays to New York audiences. Their repertoire includes new work by established and emerging writers alike.

 

 

 

Broadway Green Alliance was launched in 2008 as an ad hoc committee of The Broadway League that is an industry-wide initiative that educates, motivates, and inspires the theater community and its patrons to adopt environmentally friendlier practices in theatre production and everyday life.
