Julie Halston and Ashley Austin Morris In "Love, Loss, and What I Wore"

Be sure to catch the brilliantly hilarious fellow "Adaumbelle's Quest" participants Julie Halston and Ashley Austin Morris along with Emily Bergl, Emme, and Susan Sullivan in Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Off-Broadway smash hit "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" at the Westside Theatre in NYC through July 3!
Directed by Karen Carpenter, "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" is a collection of stories by Nora and Delia, based upon the best selling book by Ilene Beckerman. Like the book, "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" uses clothing, accessories, and the memories they trigger to tell funny and poignant stories that women (and men) can relate to.
I have seen this show twice before and am looking forward to going again to see Julie and Ashley (as well as Emily who I enjoyed most recently as "Beth" on "Desperate Housewives"). Both of these performers are brilliant actresses who know the meaning of comedic timing as well dramatic affect! They bring scripts to life while captivating an audience! If you have never seen Julie or Ashley perform, now would be a good time to check them out in "Love, Loss, and What I Wore!"
Just a cool little fact about Julie and Ashley...both have performed with the legendary Charles Busch...Julie has performed with Charles for over 25 years, most recently in the smash hit, "The Divine Sister" and Ashley began her career in Charles' "Die Mommie Die"). I love that "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" has brought them together! Brilliant casting "Love, Loss, and What I Wore!"
"Love, Loss, and What I Wore" plays at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street, between 9th & 10th Ave). Click here for tickets!
