R.I.P. Phyllis Diller

Legendary comedian Phyllis Diller passed away today at the age of 95. An icon in the world of comedy, Ms. Diller started her comedy career at the age of 37, paving the way for two generations of female comics. In addition to comedy, she made appearances on numerous variety shows on television, painted, wrote books, and starred in a few movies.

I will always remember that famous laugh that went hand in hand with Ms. Diller as well as her guest starring role on "Scooby-Doo" (I know out of the things she did this is what I remember, but for me, growing up, that was a memorable episode).

Thank you Phyllis for the many years of laughter and joy!

Donna Summer

Donna Summer, The Queen of Disco, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 after a battle with cancer. The first Donna Summer song I ever heard was "She Works Hard For The Money." It was after that song I truly discovered what a talent Donna was. Below are some of my favorite Donna Summer songs.

Thank you Donna for bringing your talent to this world for so many to hear and enjoy! May you RIP!
