In the world of reality television, there is something for everyone. I, personally, love competition shows, seeing the very talented to the not so talented. Season 11 of the The Voice was no exception. With her booming voice, I was cheering for Wé McDonald to go all the way and all the way she did, right up to the finals! I am overjoyed to interview Wé about The Voice & upcoming concert at NYC's Highline Ballroom this Friday, 2/3 at 7pm w/special guests Matthew Whitaker & Friends!
I have known about Peter Michael Marino for some time now, but it was with his direction of Amy Marcs' Nice T!ts that I got to know Peter. In his newest project Show Up, Peter uses his solo performance expertise to compile/transform the real-life experiences of the audience into a single vibrant life-story. Audience members are engaged to cue lights, design the set, & direct. Show Up will play the PIT Loft Thursdays, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23 & Saturday 2/12!
As a former stand-up comedian myself, I'm always intrigued by other comics. When British comedian Josie Long's show Something Better was presented to me, I had to find out more, especially while living in this post-election apocalypse, I am constantly looking for Something Better to focus on. Josie's show, Something Better, will be playing throughout London this February and March!

I recently took in the world premiere of Yours Unfaithfully starring Tony nominee Max von Essen. Yours Unfaithfully takes a look at the life of a couple in an open marriage and the after effects of this decision. It may have been written in 1933, but it stands the test of time, still holding court in today's world. Yours Unfaithfully raises many questions about love, monogamy, and relationships. Yours Unfaithfully plays at The Beckett Theatre thru 2/18 only!
