Call Redialed: NEW interview with Aaron David Gleason, singer/songwriter

It's so great to catch up singer/songwriter Aaron David Gleason on the heels of his new album Wry Observer being released last month. I really enjoyed learning about the making of this album, why Aaron waited 12 years between albums, finding his place in this world, his favorite things to do in NYC, & remembering his grandfather, Let's Make A Deal's Monty Hall. Aaron will celebrate the release of his new album with a concert this Tuesday, 11/14 at Rockwood Music Hall at 7pm!

Who doesn't love a good cat or dog video? I love animals, so when I read about Michael Harren's residency at Tamerlaine Animal Sanctuary, where he created his show The Animal Show, I knew this an interview I needed to do. The Animal Show is a thoughtful exploration of humans’ relationships with non-human animals. The Animal Show returns to Dixon Place on 11/8 & 11/9 at 7:30pm!

Call Answered: Interview the filmmaker Bryan Powers

Last week I went to NewFest, NYC's premiere GLBT film festival, & I discovered some remarkable movies such as Time is the Longest Distance, a short film about an estranged son’s journey to reconnect with his Alzheimer’s-stricken father, and the teenage boy he meets along the way. Time is the Longest Distance will next be screened at Kansas International Film Festival 11/5, Yonkers Film Festival 11/8, Rome International Film Festival 11/10 & Monarch Film Festival 12/2!
